Kombucha!

2nd Fermentation

Ingredients for 2L

Equipment

1st Fermentation

  1. Brew the tea in 2 cups of boiling water for 15 minutes

  2. Add the sugar while the water is hot so it disolves

  3. Add 4 cups of cold water to the sugary tea and let it cool to the 20-30 celcius range

  4. Add 1 cup of Kombucha from previous fermentation along with ya scoby

  5. Cover container opening with breathable cloth or kitchen paper using a string to secure it

  6. Wait 7 days for it to ferment

2nd Fermentation (addish flav + bubbles, optional)

  1. Add whatever flavor you want to it. Sugary fruit will make more fizz. I added orange and fresh rosemary

  2. Give it all a stir and close the lid with air-tight seal so that it carbonates

  3. Wait 2-3 days and its sippy time
